Mike is our resident hottie here at Burn the Boats. Once a career fashion model now turned common street trash, he leaves you guessing as to what’s going to happen next.

Spending a literal lifetime collecting useless knowledge, crummy dad jokes, conspiracy theories and some pretty rad artifacts. You will need to buckle in for the roller coaster ride which is his creation here in Meridian. Mike enjoys long walks on the beach, a good tequila, and has been tattooing since 2008.

Born and raised in the Boise/Meridian area. I was a kid with big dreams and an obsession with art and tattoos. Growing up I told my parents all the time I was going to be a tattoo artist, I’m sure that was music to their ears haha, Junior year of high school rolled around and I made the decision to commit to my dreams! I enrolled in an online school, completed my junior and senior year in a few months, And started working full time. The time came to find a tattoo shop and lo and behold, I stumbled upon Mike, the amazing owner of BTB. Mike saw something in me and decided to give me a chance at 17! Who says miracles don’t happen? A little about me, I enjoy working hard for what I want, weightlifting, sketching, skateboarding, mountain biking, boxing, eating anything spicy, and getting to hangout and tattoo with my amazing coworkers!

Born and raised in Maryland, Eric has been creating art and illustration his whole life. Former craft brewer and beer connoisseur, he wanted to switch to a profession that highlighted and enhanced his artistic talents. For fun he enjoys cooking, drawing, competing (and winning) in beard and moustache competitions, making hot sauce,  watching horror movies, and being a father to his amazing daughter! He’s a big sports guy and recently had a billboard of one of his beard designs hung up on his favorite hockey team’s arena. He is early in his tattooing career but he can’t wait to showcase his work and create some awesome pieces for you!

In West Philadelphia born and raised On the playground was where I spent most of my days Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’, all cool And all shootin’ some b-ball outside of the school When a couple of guys who were up to no good Started making trouble in my neighborhood I got in one little fight and my mom got scared She said, “You’re movin’ with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air” But Bel-Air sucked so I moved to Meridian Idaho

Drawing on anything and everything since he has been old enough to hold a crayon, Ian is a natural born artist. He came up painting graffiti and exploring many art forms, eventually discovering his true love- tattooing. Ian now spends his time making rad custom tattoos and caring for his family and 2 doggies. He is ready and willing to help you turn your tattoo fantasies into reality!

“I work in a college as a janitor, even though I feel like I’m smarter than most the people who go there . Sometimes I see an equation written on a blackboard, like half an equation…and I’ll just figure it out.”

I started tattooing in 2006 and gravitate towards the traditional style.
